Sr. Business Analyst β Blue Yonder WMS

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Business Analyst with deep expertise in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support the day-to-day operations of the IT Applications Department. This role plays a key part in developing and implementing integrated business processes within applications, ensuring they align with organizational needs. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS and a strong understanding of its configuration, dependencies, and functionality. This role requires leading complex technology projects, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Maintain, support, and enhance the Blue Yonder WMS application to optimize business operations.
- Collaborate with business, development, and analyst teams to create technical and functional documentation, including end-user training materials.
- Review, analyze, modify, and execute change request test plans to ensure proper Blue Yonder WMS functionality and minimal impact on existing processes.
- Identify, track, monitor, and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies.
- Act as an expert consultant on Blue Yonder WMS and other integrated business applications.
- Lead and direct vendor work efforts, provide performance feedback, and validate expenditures.
- Research, recommend, and assist in implementing emerging technologies and vendor solutions related to warehouse management.
- Communicate Blue Yonder WMS best practices and contribute to continuous IT process improvements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide guidance to teams in creating high-quality functional business requirements for WMS-related projects.
- Offer support for escalated incidents related to Blue Yonder WMS as part of the IT Help Desk.
- Facilitate training sessions on Blue Yonder WMS functionality and best practices.
- Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery test documentation related to WMS.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS and integrated business processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS configuration standards, object dependencies, and tables.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, ABAP, Java, and .Net (preferred).
- Strong understanding of relational databases and client-server concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint), Internet applications, and Outlook.
