In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize the procurement of goods and services. Your primary objective will be to obtain, analyze and manage material quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
You will lead the strategic sourcing, development and relationship management of key suppliers to optimize commodity costs and performance. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong network and foster collaboration with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
You will leverage market insights and supplier performance data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to oversee supplier performance, ensuring quality, timely delivery and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years equivalent work experience
- Excellent computer literacy and analytical skills
- Experience in Defense/Aerospace and electrical assembly purchasing preferred
