What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative position at Globe Equipment Company?
They engage with customers via phone, email, or online chat rather than in-person sales, building and maintaining strong relationships. Handle inquiries, process orders, resolve issues, and promote our products and services.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to the following:
Sales Support:
- Answer incoming calls.
- Route calls as necessary.
- Provide tracking information, product availability, and invoice copies upon request.
- Enter local customer orders as needed.
- Manage online chat if assigned a login.
Customer Service Support:
- Obtain and record order updates, including lead times, shipping dates, and backorders from the factories.
- Enter tracking information in relevant systems, including NetSuite.
- Perform order entry and assemble quotes as needed for sales teams.
- Create, submit, and track claims for lost and/or damaged shipments.
- Oversee the returns process by obtaining return authorizations for all departments and managing it from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and empathy skills.
- Familiarity with NetSuite a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Windows, Excel.

Pay: $44,518.70 - $53,613.92 per year
