What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Benefits Specialist position at Globe Life AO?
Hello & welcome! For the last 70 years we have been servicing our nations heroes such as the police officers, firefighters, nurses, and 40,000 other unions and since then we have expanded into multiple markets including Credit Unions and now our US Veterans. We are looking to expand our team with some sharp, entrepreneurial minded candidates that are coachable and have a strong work ethic that would be excited to serve these groups.
Our most successful agents come from all types of work backgrounds so experience in sales is not required. We have industry-leading training and support to provide you the tools to be successful and achieve your professional and personal goals. Since 2020 we've gone 100% virtual so our people work from the comfort and safety of their homes, or from anywhere for that matter.
As a Veteran Benefits producer you would call your veteran leads (warm leads provided by the company) and flip them directly to a zoom meeting. In this meeting we give them a will & testament among other free benefits, educate them on their VA benefits, and help them qualify for the permanent benefits they're entitled to for being a veteran. Also in each meeting we have the ability to collect anywhere from 5-10 referrals frees you from being dependent on the company provided leads.
Our goal would be to train and develop you to not only be a successful producer, but also be a successful leader & trainer. Setting you up to earn your first promotion within 1-3 months so we can continue to grow and keep up with all the requests we have from the groups that we work with.

Having a mindset of growth and strong desire to help others

NEXT STEPS:
- 1st Interview: After reviewing your resume, if chosen to advance you will receive an email to select an interview time; the first interview is done over a 15-20 minute phone call. Prior to your interview, please make sure you have reviewed the job overview above and be prepared to discuss the above information.
- 2nd Interview: Due to the high volume of applicants, the second interview will start out as a group overview that will go over company culture, pay structure, career paths, and more. Then you will be interviewed one-on-one with our hiring manager. This will be conducted remotely, and a conditional offer will be made if you are a good fit.
- Licensing: Our industry is federally regulated. You do not need to hold an insurance license to apply. If you are a good fit, we will help you obtain the proper licensing. Your employment will be conditional on you obtaining this license. Licensing can be done as quick as 4-6 days, but is dependent on your efforts.
