Construction Manager

Job Description:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for:

· Overseeing the daily operations of landscape construction projects, including site preparation, hardscaping, planting, irrigation integration, and lighting installation

· Providing leadership and coordination across field crews

· Assisting in hiring and training crew leads and construction staff

· Tracking project progress, hours, materials, and budgets using Aspire (project management tool)

· Managing client expectations, jobsite logistics, and delivering projects on time and within budget

· Ensuring all work complies with safety standards, design specifications, and quality expectations

Additional Responsibilities:

· Manage and coordinate all aspects of landscape construction from mobilization through project completion

· Interpret and execute construction drawings, plans, and specifications

· Lead daily site meetings, set crew goals, and ensure timely task execution

· Monitor jobsite safety and enforce OSHA compliance standards

· Communicate regularly with clients, designers, and internal teams regarding schedules, changes, and progress

· Source and manage material deliveries, subcontractors, and equipment rentals

· Conduct site inspections and punch-list walkthroughs to ensure quality control

· Maintain accurate documentation of project scope, costs, change orders, and client communications

· Collaborate with leadership to support planning and staffing needs across multiple jobs

Qualifications:

· 3 years of experience in landscape construction management, preferably on high-end residential projects

· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift materials or equipment when necessary

· Highly motivated, results-oriented, and detail-focused

· Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors

· Strong technical skills including reading construction documents, layout, and site logistics planning

· Proficient in project management, ideally Aspire

· Knowledge of construction standards, materials, and best practices for landscape and hardscape projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
