Are you a seasoned evidence-based (passive) portfolio manager who’s built a practice but prefers to thrive as part of a collaborative team? We’ve built a robust group of wealth planners and are seeking a Director of Portfolio Management to complement our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Planning Support:
- Collaborate with the team to analyze prospect and client portfolios.
- Create customized investment plans and recommend strategies for risk management.
- Organize and prepare responses to client inquiries and support during meetings.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and manage investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with target exposures and investment activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide timely updates and contribute to team discussions for continuous improvement.
Team Collaboration:
- Communicate complex financial concepts effectively to team members and clients.
- Utilize Slack for asynchronous team communication.
- Foster strong internal and external partnerships to drive success.
Qualifications:
- Education & Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- CFA or other investment-related credentials are a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient with industry-specific software and service providers such as Schwab, Fidelity, Black Diamond, Right Capital, Wealth.com, and Holistiplan.
- Proficient with HubSpot, Notion, Slack, Sheets, Google Apps Scripts a plus
- Strong systems-oriented abilities with attention to detail.
Core Competencies:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Assets under management:
- Director level team members will be required to have existing transferable clients in excess of $20 million (we may consider candidates with less).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
