Irrigation Manager - (Landscape)

Locations: Bellevue, Idaho or Blaine County, Idaho

Job Description:

The Irrigation Manager will be responsible for:

· Overseeing the daily operations of irrigation jobs, including system activation, winterization, monitoring, repair, and the irrigation portion of landscape construction jobs

· Training and mentoring irrigation technicians

· Providing leadership and coordination to the irrigation team

· Implementing and managing Aspire, the job and crew hours and materials tracking tool

Additional Responsibilities:

· Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to assess performance and identify areas for improvement

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water use and conservation

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of irrigation services with overall landscaping projects

· Collaborate with clients and irrigation designers to develop budgets and implement plans for preventative, scheduled, and emergency repairs, as well as system upgrades

· Stay updated on the latest irrigation technologies and techniques to continually improve service offerings

Qualifications:

· 2 years of experience in irrigation, including installation, maintenance, and repair

· Physical ability to perform fieldwork, including lifting equipment and working in various weather conditions

· Highly motivated and results-oriented with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction

· Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team

· Strong technical and computer skills, including proficiency in irrigation management software and tools

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders

· Possession of relevant certifications is highly desirable, such as:

• Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT)
• Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC)
• Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA)

· Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to irrigation and water conservation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
