Job Description:
- The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the completion of assigned maintenance projects in a safe and timely manner.
- While coordinating with production schedules and department supervisors, maintenance techs are called upon to install, maintain, and program advanced manufacturing equipment including robotics, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Technicians are expected to constantly inspect, repair, remove, and replace machinery and other production equipment.
- Our plant is temperature controlled, so work is typically performed in cool, 45-degree rooms and damp conditions, but must occasionally be conducted in a temperature range of -5 to 100 degrees both in and out of the building.
- Keeping the plant and the equipment therein in good, working condition is vital for not just productivity, but also for safety, so it’s very important that maintenance techs are reliable – maintaining good attendance and working overtime as needed.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are also a must to identify probable causes and determine the best course of action to resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
- 5 years experience in manufacturing is preferred, and Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S training are a strong plus.
- Strong skills in the areas of electrical, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, diagnostics, tube bending, pipe threading, use of power tools, and mechanical skills are required.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
