Role: Maintenance Technician
Salary: $27 to $35/Hr with Benefits
Location: Washington, MO
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Job Summary:-
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the completion of assigned maintenance projects in a safe and timely manner.
While coordinating with production schedules and department supervisors, maintenance techs are called upon to install, maintain, and program advanced manufacturing equipment including robotics, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Technicians are expected to constantly inspect, repair, remove and replace machinery and other production equipment.
Our plant is temperature controlled, so work is typically performed in cool, 45-degree rooms and damp conditions, but must occasionally be conducted in a temperature range of -5 to 100 degrees both in and out of the building.
Keeping the plant and the equipment therein in good, working condition is vital for not just productivity, but also for safety, so it’s very important that maintenance techs are reliable – maintaining good attendance and working overtime as needed.
Strong troubleshooting skills are also a must to identify probable causes and determine the best course of action to resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
5 years’ experience in manufacturing is preferred, and Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and 5S training are a strong plus and Facilities maintenance.
Strong skills in the areas of electrical, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, diagnostics, tube bending, pipe threading, use of power tools and mechanical skills are required
