We are seeking a PROJECT ACCOUNTANT to work in our downtown Chicago office.
In this role, you will
- Compare project actual performance to budget
- Communicate project financial status to management
- Work with Project Managers to understand the burn rate vs. progress rate
- Complete invoicing for assigned projects, including contract administration
- Coordinate timely submission of subconsultant invoices and payments
- Prepare and maintain G/L entries
- Prepare executive reports on assigned projects
- Other duties, as assigned.
We are looking for someone who has:
- BS degree in accounting
- 3 or more years of accounting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on-site five days a week
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience invoicing for Architectural/Engineering or Construction companies
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
