We are seeking a PROJECT ARCHITECT to design and plan all types of municipal, commercial, multifamily housing, and institutional projects – the type of projects that impact lives daily. Our projects get built.
This position is a remote position, but the successful candidate must live in the Tampa Bay area.
In this position, you will:
- Communicate design options to project teams and clients, which include public agencies
- Development and management of project schedules and budgets
- Completes projects within budget and schedule
- Prepare design and contract drawings using advanced design tools
- Prepare design and construction documents and specifications
- Ensure the designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements
- Review Phase 1 environmental site assessments
- Review and analyze land surveys
- Complete site assessments
- Develop feasibility studies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 7 years of architectural experience
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of architectural projects
- Knowledge of other disciplines and directs interdisciplinary coordination
- Detailed knowledge of building codes and industry standards, including ADA
- Proficiency in Revit, Lumion, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of Rhinoceros is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid Florida Architecture License
- LEED AP certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture
- PMP certification a plus
