Globex is searching for the right professional to fill the following role of operations specialist. This role consists of two primary responsibilities:
Logistics: Responsible for managing the efficient flow of goods from the point of receipt to the customer by coordinating inland and ocean transportation, coordinating with inventory management, and warehouse operations, ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations; key duties include coordinating with loading facilities, inland carriers, and ocean carriers, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining accurate information in Logistics Management System (LMS) to meet customer demands.
Documentation: Responsible for accurately preparing and managing the necessary paperwork related to the shipment of goods, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, invoicing customers, and releasing goods at destination. Individual will interact with sales, logistics, and overseas customers to ensure a smooth transfer of goods from Globex to our customers.

- Process customer orders efficiently.
- Coordinating pick-up schedules, truck appointments, and ocean bookings.
- Monitor delivery timelines and address any potential delays.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal inventory managers to ensure efficient inventory flow and avoid potential storage costs.
- Ensure product compliance with destination regulations.
- Accurately input shipment details into the logistics management system (LMS).
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and shipping details.
Documentation Responsibilities:
- Create, compile, and review all shipping documents, including commercial invoices, insurance certificates, certificates of origin, and any additional export certificates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and verify details pertaining to the order and creation of documentation.
- Stay updated on relevant import/export regulations and customs requirements to ensure proper documentation compliance.
- Coordinate with destination customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of shipments.
- Monitor and address potential documentation discrepancies that could cause delays or penalties.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation files for each shipment, including electronic copies, for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Collaborate closely with sales, warehouse, logistics, and offshore documentation teams to gather necessary information for documentation.
- Address any document-related inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve any documentation issues promptly and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
