Job Summary:
The Order Filler is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders from the warehouse inventory. This includes working with fresh produce, ensuring quality and freshness, and preparing items for timely shipping or pickup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order tickets to accurately pick products.
- Select and pack fresh fruit orders with care to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Label and organize orders for shipping or delivery.
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment (cold storage).
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and restocking shelves.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
