Job Summary:
The Order Selector is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing produce orders for shipment based on customer requirements. This role is essential to maintaining product quality and ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and gather produce based on order sheets or electronic systems
- Inspect and handle fruits carefully to ensure freshness and prevent damage
- Label, organize, and stage orders for shipping or delivery
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided)
- Work in refrigerated environments as needed
- Assist in restocking and rotating inventory
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Communicate any discrepancies or inventory issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or order selection experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cold storage environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and reading skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
