What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Field Inventory Specialist position at Globus Medical?

Position Summary :
Reconciles inventory of materials used in surgeries and reviews materials billed. Creates Return of Material Authorizations (RMA) to process returns of missing inventory. Works with Sales Force to resolve and identify missing material / inventory. Supports and assists Sales Representatives to submit and issue corrected charge sheet orders to ensure materials are charged to applicable cost centers. Acts as a contact for our internal customers, field sales and distributor reps by assisting with Asset Management inquiries and contribution margin actions
Essential Functions :
- Solicits the retrieval of unreturned RMA's within assigned territory using reports provided by management
- Supports and manages the inventory for sales reps who maintain minimum inventory amounts (par level inventory)
- Supports inventory reconciliation for minimum inventory amounts (par level inventory) and loose field base inventory
- Replaces inventory sets inadvertently returned, including evaluating set replenishment needs, and updates reorder points as necessary
- Conducts new placements via our order management system
- Creates retrieval tickets and update reorder points in our order management systems
- Performs ad-hoc data analysis for business units around customer, products, and cost to serve
- Supports field inventory swap outs and manages "loaner" kits
- Performs other duties as assigned
