Position Summary:
As a CNC Programmer you will administer processes used to manufacture parts and/or implants starting with initial processing, through programming and fixture design, final prove-out, and continual improvement activities.
Essential Functions:
- Writes and troubleshoots computer numerical control (CNC) programs for 3 and 5-axis mill machines
- Determines process steps for complex medical implants
- Generates clearly documented work instructions and drawings
- Programs equipment and adjusts and sets equipment speeds, feeds and insertions as required
- Assists in the design framework of tooling and fixtures
- Confers with other engineers, production personnel or others to resolve machining or assembly problems
- Performs quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
- Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications using various measuring tools such as: calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, and vision system
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:
- Understand implements and maintains the Company's quality policy in the performance of all duties and responsibilities
- Knowledge of CNC mills machines including G Code and M Code
- Knowledge of 3D Tool path creation
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Preferred machining experience
