Essential Functions
Strategic IT Leadership:
- Develop and execute a forward-looking global IT strategy tightly aligned with corporate objectives and financial metrics.
- Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors on all IT matters.
- Operate as a strategic partner with the business while maintaining an execution-focused mindset.
- Oversee global IT operations with an emphasis on performance, security posture, and cost-efficiency.
- Use and enhance existing homegrown systems—external ERP implementation is not an option.
- Travel to India quarterly to collaborate with extended global teams.
- Lead with a hands-on, player/coach approach, empowering a high-performing global IT team.
- Build and mentor top talent across multiple locations and cultures while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Work with challenging personalities and conflicting priorities with professionalism and poise.
- Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and modernization within current budget and system constraints.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives with a sharp focus on pragmatic implementation and measurable business impact.
- Understand and evolve existing processes, respecting institutional knowledge while identifying and bridging gaps.
- Lead efforts on continual improvement of master data and the proper housing and management of this data and its application.
- Lead cybersecurity efforts and proactively enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Establish, monitor, and improve policies to ensure security, compliance, and data integrity across the enterprise.
- Lead vendor and contract negotiations to extract maximum value and performance.
- Manage IT budgets with discipline, tying investments to ROI and broader organizational priorities.
- Ensure responsible use of resources and transparent financial reporting.
- Communicate complex technical strategies and issues in an executive-ready, clear, and impactful manner.
- Serve as a key liaison to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors.
- Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
- Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 15 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles with a strong background in engineering and financial acumen. Preference will be given to those candidates having a strong “start-up” background who’ve demonstrated an ability to develop systems and ultimately scale.
- Proven success scaling IT operations globally in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment.
- Deep expertise across IT infrastructure, security, operations, software development, and business systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational development, build global teams, and drive performance in matrixed structures.
- Polished communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Experience with M&A integration, SaaS/cloud solutions, and internal systems development strongly preferred.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, TOGAF, or similar are desirable.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% globally, including quarterly travel to India.
