Basic eligibility requirements:
- No delivery experience required
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to legally work in the U.S.
- Valid/Current California Driver License
- Must consent to pre-employment verification process
- Able to get in and out of a sprinter van, Step van, carry packages, occasionally up and down stairs throughout the shift
- Must be able to work weekends, assigned shifts, and alternate days
- Must be able to speak and read English fluently, follow directions
- Be comfortable with technology: Mobile phone devices, GPS, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities: What you will be doing
- Safely operate company-provided vehicle
- Perform routine daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Strictly adhere to predetermined routes, schedules, and local traffic laws to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Load packages at the warehouse and unload/deliver packages at the delivery destination
- Timely report all issues to dispatcher
- Use Handheld GPS devices for routes and driving directions, customer instructions, delivery confirmation, work schedule clocking, package scanning and photos.
- Help out other drivers on the team when needed (rescue)
- Follow and comply with all required processes at all times
