What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Information Technology position at Glocap Tech?
Technology Experience:
- Experience managing third-party IT service providers
- White glove IT support for employees
- Well versed in Windows 10/11
- Deep understanding of Microsoft ActiveDirectory services - DHCP, DNS, GPO
- Experience managing Office 365, Exchange Online, and Entra
- Experience working on cloud platforms e.g. Azure & AWS
- Experience with all aspects of a VDI environment
- Pure SAN management and administration experience
- Microsoft lntune Mobile Device Management- or similar MDM management experience
- Experience with WSUS for Microsoft patch deployment
- Some software packaging and deployment experience
- Some knowledge of SQL-comfortable enough to deploy scripts, adjusting permissions, etc.
- Familiarity with financial applications such as Bloomberg, Geneva, Eze Software, Bipsync
- Backup and archive experience both on premise and cloud based
- Video/Audio conferencing management more specifically with Crestron/ Teams/ Zoom
- VPN configuration/management experience
- Other tasks as required
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required with relevant work experience Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems Management.
- 10 years of experience in Information Security
- 5 years working in a highly regulated environment; finance industry preferred
- A highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrable problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong focus on customer service
- Strong document writing skills
- Solid understanding of IT Security principles in a business setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including hour and weekend changes and on call support as required
