POSITION: Quantitative Investment Analyst, Large Family Office
Our Client is a prominent New York-based family office that manages a large, diversified investment portfolio across multiple asset classes, including hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, and real assets. They are looking for an experienced Quantitative Investment Analyst with a strong understanding of investment and risk management practices as applied to institutional portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- Apply quantitative framework for investment due diligence and research across multi-asset class investments, including hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, and real assets. Past experience in factor and risk modeling for these asset classes is required
- Perform scenario analysis and stress testing to assess how portfolios respond under different market conditions
- Collaborate with investment team to provide insights on portfolio construction, investment strategies, and market inefficiencies
- Present findings and recommendations to the investment team in a clear and actionable manner
- Design automated risk and investment analysis reports and dashboards to support data-driven investment decisions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the investment and risk management infrastructure by integrating new tools, data sources, and methodologies
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, methodologies, and best practices in quantitative finance, financial modeling, and investment risk management
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in quantitative roles, preferably at a large endowment, foundation, or similar institutional investment organization
- Strong programming skills in Excel, Python (preferred) and/or R, MATLAB, and SQL for data analysis and model development
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and continuous learning, demonstrated through independent research, professional development, and engagement with the latest advancements in quantitative finance
- Experience with data visualization and handling large datasets is preferred
Salary : $140,000 - $200,000
