We're currently building an innovative mobile app for a major NHL franchise, with plans to expand across the entire league and into other professional sports. This app does more than deliver scores - it tracks fan movement inside the stadium, offers real-time interactive games, and connects users to on-site vendors and amenities. It's the future of the live sports experience - and you'll help bring it to life.
Manage the full release lifecycle for mobile app updates, from planning to deployment and post-release support.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, QA, and Marketing to ensure readiness for every release.
Maintain and communicate a clear release schedule that aligns with both technical milestones and live event timelines.
Define and implement best practices around version control, CI/CD workflows, and rollback procedures.
Monitor release metrics and troubleshoot issues related to mobile deployments.
Support real-time event-driven releases and integrations tied to live game experiences.
Serve as the central point of contact for all things release-related, both internally and with external stakeholders.

Smart Entry & Fan Flow Tracking: Understand when and where fans enter the stadium.

3 years of experience in release management or similar roles, especially in mobile app environments.
Strong understanding of iOS and Android deployment processes, including App Store / Google Play requirements.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise, or Fastlane.
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Great communication skills - you're the go-to person when things get hectic.
Experience working in an Agile product development environment.
A background in sports, media, or live entertainment tech.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and collaborative tools like Slack.
