Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Caregiver, you will provide the care and support to our residents
As a team lead you will help in training and supporting caregivers in their daily activities. You will work closely with management to adjust care as resident's needs change, and make sure caregivers understand the changes. You will also help management in administrative tasks when help is needed.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance for all ADLs.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Support clients with in their daily living activities, be empathetic to resident needs and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized home.
- Prepare 3 meals a day plus snacks, and holiday meals.
Preferred Team Lead Experience
- Previous experience leading a team of 4 or more caregivers.
- Demonstrated ability to train caregivers.
- Ability to adjust and effectively react to changes in resident care needs.
- Able to provide a supportive environment for all caregivers.
- Ability to participate in recruiting future caregivers.
Qualifications
- Previous AFH experience required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Ability to cover shifts when a caregiver is not available for their shift.
- Previous experience as a team lead in a health care setting preferred.
- Fully credentialed to work in an AFH.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
