Description
The Engineering Change Specialist required to help manage the ECN changes and deviations for existing models. This role would work on material cut-in and Work Order updates for changes being initiated, tracking component obsolescence and use up quantities and limiting the cost of ITS by using up or selling components to Service. The role would also be a key resource for the serial number project : verifying coding, clearing anomalies, and working through Assy line issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Tracks deviations in Bill of Materials
- Tracks and establishes production cut in dates for new components changes.
- Tracks and modifies Inspection Status for Qualified Product
- Makes coding changes inside the system and tracks status updates.
- Learns the Product Data Hub to enter data.
- Works on Serialization projects
- Works through Smart Sheet and Power BI to create Monthly reports.
- Perform monthly ISO Audits
- Works on Continual Improvement projects
- Works on Supplier Communication
- Facilitates Kaizen events and projects.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Education Level :
Associate’s degree in a related scientific field from a two-year college or university or equivalent experience.
