Description
The Software Configuration Specialist is a subject matter expert on the functionality, operations, and configuration of the RevApp.
**This role will require you to work overnight- 2:00 AM to 11:00 AM **
Key Responsibilities
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Software and custom package building, testing and configuration for deployment.
- Partners with internal and external customers to ensure successful execution of requests via email and ticketing systems, and reviews requests for enhancements, ideas, and recommendations.
- Assist in document creation as required such as work instructions, process outlines, guides, manuals.
- Validates acceptance of deployments and report on any discrepancies.
- Regression testing for software vs configuration settings.
- Tracks all activity as billable or non-billable
- Ensures all tasks are completed upon within agreed upon SLA
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on the products, data, and markets supported
- Take ownership of escalated issues and manage customer expectations.
- Engage with customer during pilots and software product launches, ensuring customer needs are being met
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Advanced certification in computer related field preferred.
- Call Center experience, Customer Product Support, SaAS experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong process retention skills
- High level of understanding prioritization of work
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and utilize available resources to resolve issues in a timely manner
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Fundamental understanding of RevApp.
- Familiarity of XML Creation
- Broad SQL skills
- Knowledge of retail cash management processes
