What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Laborer -2nd Shift position at Glosser steel?
Glosser Steel Service Center is seeking a Warehouse Laborer at our Camp Hill, PA location. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.
This is a full time position, which includes benefits and Paid Time Off. Our 2nd shift is 2pm - 10:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Use lifting equipment safely to load and unload trucks and racks
- Ensure that incoming and outgoing product and quantities are correct and match bills of ladings
- Ensure incoming and outgoing product meets quality standards
- Sorts steel products before loading or unloading.
- Loads and unloads steel products onto trucks.
- Uses bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.
- Ability to read and accurately measure products.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at a time.
