Responsibilities
GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts located in Orlando, FL. This position will be responsible for designing, creating, and executing testing solutions that ultimately improve the quality and speed of software delivery teams.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and stakeholder team(s) to ensure high quality on-time delivery
- Develop, monitor, and deliver comprehensive automated testing solutions that ensure quality, establish trust, and validates acceptance criteria
- Work with software engineers and QA analysts to troubleshoot and remediate defects
- Communicate quality and test anomalies to the team
- Ensure user and organizational expectations of quality are met during the testing process
- Develop and enhance quality assurance policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, Typescript or others commonly used in test automation
- Proficiency in using popular test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools depending on the technology stack.
- Experience integrating automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience testing data pipelines, RESTful and SOAP APIs, including creating and executing automated tests
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document test cases, and report on test results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues in the automation process and test executions.
- Must be available to work onsite in Orlando, FL as needed
