We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Building Inspection Specialist in Gloucester County, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of residential and commercial buildings to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in the building trades.
The Building Inspection Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to improve code compliance throughout the county, as well as providing education and training to builders and homeowners on code compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
