Summary
This position is responsible for unloading and loading shipments.
Responsibilities
- Unload and load all delivery trucks.
- Make sure the bill of lading matches the delivery material.
- Make sure the packing slip matches the material delivered by the supplier.
- Once the material is verified and received into the iVeles system by the inventory parts clerks, the material is moved to the correct location in the warehouse.
- All parts are to be pulled in date order, oldest material first (FIFO).
- The parts are pulled from the warehouse shelves and stocked in the correct bins on the VPC line for use.
- Rotate Stock
- Overstock of parts are to be stored in the parts containers outside.
- Load Empty Trash boxes onto Trash Trailers
- Perform daily inventory counts on all PIO parts for HMA and HAC.
- Manual count of parts is performed daily for reconciliation
- Supply needed parts to processing lines and PIO installation area via Forklift or Hand Pallet Jack.
- Parts are distributed by FIFO.
- Remove Empty containers from designated areas and place on Recycling trailer.
- All other duties assigned
- Organizational skill
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Forklift Certification required
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable operating forklift
- Must be comfortable with repetitive movements such as foot controls, simple/firm grasping, and fine manipulation
