The Parts Analyst is responsible for assisting reconciling inventory including but not limited to receiving, moving, and counting. This position interacts directly with Parts Supervisor and administrative staff to maintain, organize warehouse, and assist in maintaining accurate inventory.

Responsibilities
- Accurate Track Installed PIO
- Generate requested reports by management
- Communicate with Parts Warehouse Supervisor of parts, shortages, and part number problems as they arise
- Accurately enter parts into VELES to decrement correctly, based off PIO Application Guide
- Monitor daily consumption of installs through VELES
- Reconcile PIO closed by VIN with PIO by VIN submitted to AMOS
- Report missing installs to IT for resubmission
- Track open PIO on port daily
- Units VPC IN are not closed
- Ensure all open PIO are verified installed or in the vehicle
- Request verification and follow through to conclusion
- Accurately Submit PIO Parts/Changes into VELES
- Acts as SME for system set up for company
- Assists all other locations for Parts mapping
- Basic Configuration
- Check new manifests and allocations daily using VELES
- Ensure all new and old parts (part number and description) are entered in system for proper receiving and decrementing using part master
- Create new activity codes to differentiate new parts and part packages
- Set up all new Model Codes (Model year, model code, model type, name code, model description)
- Set up Common Codes (Example: Interior/exterior colors, model year, model type, etc.)
- Link Model codes to proper accessory codes and activity codes to ensure correct receiving of allocation and manifest files
- Generate Reports and Distribute Daily
- Run missing PIO report, analyze, and make corrections
- Track training parts consumed that are not allocated and closed to vehicles
- Monitor vehicles for allocations to insure PIO is properly assigned and parts are closed correctly
- Run open PIO verification list, supply to Penn to have vehicles verified for PIO installations and parts are closed correctly to vehicle
- Run SL621 (AMOS) report and consumption (VELES) report and compare records to ensure they are matching, correct error when they occur
- Run report to determine on ground and at sea shortage, send on ground shortage report in AM
- Run negative history report, monitor, and correct errors to decrementing locations
- Month End Parts Reconciliation
- Parts status checks performed before month end inventory audit
- Count physical parts in warehouse monthly
- Locating non-closed, installed parts to solve variance concerns
- Participate in inventory reconciling of parts with high discrepancy
- Analyze missing installs list from MOBIS before month end audit to close installed PIO on shipped vehicles
- Order Picking
- Monitor on ground allocations and at sea allocations using company software program
- Ensure proper parts are availability for production and communicate to parts staff
- Work with Warehouse Lead to supply hot list of production needs upon request

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools for generating and distributing daily inventory and audit reports
- Familiarity with inventory audits and cycle counts
- Good verbal and written communication skills for internal coordination
- Ability to follow processes for tracking, verifying, and reconciling inventory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracl, VELES)
- HS Diploma/GED Required
- 1 - 2 Years of Direct Experience Required
- 2 - 5 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
- Driver's License Required
- Forklift Training, Warehouse Safety, and/or Hazardous Materials Training Preferred
- Forklift Certification Class 2 and 3 Preferred
- Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
- Lift up to 20lbs
