Summary
The Senior Analyst, Corporate Operations Support position is responsible for providing support in collecting and analyzing financial data for the logistics network optimization and cost savings initiatives. Duties include cost and profitability analysis, forecasting and project coordination, and development with a focus infrastructure development and vehicle logistics operations support.
Responsibilities
- Analyze historical data to develop accurate volume, revenue, cost, and profitability forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance and senior leadership to gather and support with relevant information
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate financial performance metrics and insights to management
- Perform in-depth analysis of Glovis' vehicle logistics operations
- Support team and Operation departments for special projects
- Support & identify the development and implementation of plans to optimize our logistic network by reduce costs, and/or improve efficiency
- Work with team to create and review analysis for new and current projects
- Collaborate with and provide support to Operations departments on day-to-day items and projects
- Identify areas of cost reduction and improve profitability through models and negotiations
- Support in drafting presentations for executives as well as support & prepare documents for approval
- Maintain regular updates to team project tracker
- Maintain and track vendor contracts, knowing their status, rate escalations, and clauses
- Support other projects as assigned
Compensation Range
$53,000-$63,000/Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required
- Proficient with PC skills: MS Office products (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook, database management systems) Required
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and drive actions with cross-functional groups Required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to adjust to meet business needs Required
- Individual must be a self-starter with ability to work with limited direction Required
- Strong negotiations, procurement, and conflict resolution skills Required
- Working knowledge of contract management practices, tracking and managing data, contracts, and timelines Preferred
- Working knowledge of industry and market conditions, and carrier operations businesses Preferred
Education & Experience
- Associate's Degree Required
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or Logistics Required
- 4-7 years of experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or Logistics Preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
