Summary
The National Manager - OD– Logistics Planning & Performance Management/Customer Service will lead the strategic direction & execution of logistics planning, PM, and CS operations for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and non-captive customers. This position will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics planning and performance management functions, ensuring the alignment of logistics, customer service, and performance goals with corporate objectives. The HOD will drive improvements in operational efficiency, lead a high-performing team, and collaborate across departments to meet strategic goals, enhance customer satisfaction, and optimize logistics operations.
Compensation Range
- $142,000 - $162,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Logistics Planning, Performance Management, and Customer Service teams, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives
- Provide clear strategic direction and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within the teams
- Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills, grow leadership potential, and ensure alignment with the overall business strategy
- Set performance expectations and ensure timely, accurate execution of team goals
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of logistics planning and performance management strategies for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and non-captive customers
- Ensure accurate forecasting, allocation, and tracking of vehicle volumes for all brands while optimizing network design to align with operational goals
- Define, track, and analyze KPIs to ensure strategic objectives are met and adjust operational strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align logistics planning and performance management initiatives with corporate priorities
- Lead the development and continuous enhancement of performance management reporting systems for accurate and efficient KPI tracking
- Ensure comprehensive and timely performance reporting for senior leadership, external customers, and stakeholders, with actionable insights
- Provide analysis on performance trends and develop strategic recommendations based on data insights to support decision-making and operational adjustments
- Oversee customer service functions, ensuring that Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and non-captive customers’ needs are met and exceeded through high-quality service
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Business Development, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics planning and performance management processes
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings across logistics planning, performance management, and customer service operations
- Foster an environment of continuous learning and skill development, ensuring team members are equipped to meet evolving business needs

Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in defining and monitoring KPIs, managing customer service, and driving performance improvements Required
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Required
- Strong understanding of logistics planning, network design, and supply chain operations Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to executives and stakeholders Required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools; familiarity with logistics management software and performance tracking systems Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Masters Degree Preferred
- Ten (10) to Fifteen (15) Years of Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Performance Management Required
- Thirteen (13) Years to Eighteen (18) Years of Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Performance Management Preferred
- Four (4) to Seven (7) Years of Supervisory experience Required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
- Possibility of domestic and international travel - 15%
