Summary
The Senior Analyst - International Procurement position will be responsible for support the day-to-day Procurement operations for all business departments at GLOVIS America, Inc. This position is responsible for assisting with all vendor (direct and non- direct) contracts to include negotiation, implementation, purchasing of goods and services for the organization. Duties include but are not limited to; participating in the review of vendor rates, market studies, and support buyers & suppliers relationships for the best procurement/ business practices.
Responsibilities
- Support Supplier Management and general oversight to all department procurement with external supply chain and its processes:
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential suppliers, as well as internal business stakeholders
- Proactive support for overall supplier performance and fidelity of supplier scorecards
- Assist with categories of procurement activities to maintain continuity of supply for current and future business needs
- Assist with reviewing existing supplier contracts, ensure on-going and future feasibility with internal stakeholders
- Continuously support to update and optimize vendor pool by aligning their capabilities and offerings with GLOVIS America's specific operational requirements
- Prepare market study insights and trends for related business and for required/potential outsourced categories of spend (Ocean, OTR, Rail, Intermodal, facilities, etc.)
- Support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess supplier capabilities, resolve performance issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist and conduct any projects as assigned
- RFx/Proposal Management:
- Support and assist with RFx process for new/recurring demand: requirements definition, bidder identification, critical timelines
- Work with internal stakeholders to:
- Analyze proposals and opportunities
- Support the process to select optimum suppliers, favorable cost/pricing terms and ensure compliance with Legal, Regulatory, and Customer requirements
- Assist with the development and execution of negotiation plans
- Coordinate inter-departmental communication with Business Development, Finance, Legal, internal consumers, GLOVIS leadership to execute Contract approvals Contract Support & Execution
- Support closely with the Legal team and vendors to assist in the drafting, review, and execution of procurement contracts
- Support to Maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and modifications.
- Assist with preparing proposal of developmental projects
- Identify areas to improve/ increase Procurement planning, control and accountability with the business groups
- Support the Procurement organization as needed and support management requests for information, analyses, reports and insights
- Assist and work with the internal team to improve GPMS enhancement for reporting, data management, and overall system function.
Compensation
$54,000 - $59,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Strong negotiations, procurement, and conflict resolution skills preferred
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and drive actions with cross-functional groups preferred
- Proficient PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, database management systems required
- Working knowledge of industry and market conditions, and carrier operations businesses required
- Working knowledge of contract management practices, tracking and managing data, contracts, and timelines required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to adjust to meet business needs required
- Individual must be a self-starter with ability to work with limited direction required
- Solid understanding of contract management processes, legal compliance, and vendor performance monitoring preferred
Education & Experience
- Associate's Degree Required
- 3 - 5 Years of Direct Experience in Supplier Management, Logistics, Project Management Required
- 4 - 7 Years of Direct Experience in Supplier Management, Logistics, Project Management Preferred
- PMP, CSCP, CLTD, CTSC Preferred
