Summary

The Senior Manager - IT Project will lead development and activation of a multi-year IT strategy which will be centered new business models for GLOVIS America, with technology as a key enabler. Primary duties will plan IT strategy to support company business and lead IT project to success GLOVIS goals with SAP-based  ERP solutions; leading analysis and design in the SAP FI/CO area, in close cooperation with the finance team.

Responsibilities

• IT Strategy and Planning
  • IT strategic business planning & progress checking align with HOD’s direction – new business opportunities
  • Provide strategic justification through the preparation of a business case for each major IT project
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders – subsidiary IT counterparts – to ensure clear and consistent communication about IT decisions that impact the broader organization
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Manage critical issues & resolutions related to existing SAP solutions 
  • Analysis, design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions
  • Streamline existing business processes – Work with users to identify areas of improvement, create functional and technical requirements for changes and provide relevant training. Providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP FI/CO module to end users
  •  Prepare functional spec to assist the technical consultant to develop/make changes in ABAP programs
  • Enhancement of the SAP for end user based on requirement
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Deep understanding of business processes as well as good knowledge of technical issues in the area of financial modules
  • Gather information on business requirements and prepare
  • Support business users in the development, implementation, and support of SAP FICO module
  • Prepare End user training Document
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Compensation Range

$124,000- $133,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications

Skills

• Knowledge on SAP FI: FI-AR (Account Receivable), FI-AP (Account Payables), GL and New GL(General Ledger), FI-AA (Asset Account); Month/year end closing activities Required 
• Knowledge on CO module Preferred
• Knowledge on HANA database Preferred
• Knowledge on ABAP programming (debugging) Preferred
• Experience in full life cycle SAP implementation Preferred
• Good communication skills Preferred

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree Required
• 10  Years of Direct Experience in Information Technology Required
• 10-15 Years of Direct Experience in Information Technology Preferred
