Summary

The Senior Manager, overseeing Wholesale Planning, Customer Service, and Performance Management for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and Non-Captive customers, will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of logistics, performance management, and customer service strategies across multiple brands. This position will lead a team that manages the performance tracking, reporting, and network design activities to meet the strategic objectives for wholesale planning and customer satisfaction. The Senior Manager will collaborate with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders to ensure all performance goals are met, overseeing the development of reporting tools, KPI tracking, and customer service management for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and non-captive customers. 

Compensation Range

$118,000- $134,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead and mentor a team of Logistics Planning Supervisors and Customer Service & Performance Management Supervisors for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and Non-Captive customers
    • Provide strategic direction to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational objectives for each brand
    • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging continuous learning and development to meet performance goal
    • Strategic Performance Management 
    • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of wholesale KPIs for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and non-captive customers
    • Ensure performance metrics are accurately tracked and reported on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for all brands
    • Analyze performance data and trends to make strategic recommendations to senior leadership and internal teams
    • Oversee the coordination and alignment of all performance management activities, ensuring consistency and accuracy across brands
    • Reporting & Analysis
    • Lead the development and maintenance of performance management reporting systems for all brands, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports to internal teams, senior management, and external customers
    • Review and validate the quality of performance reports prepared by the team, ensuring they are clear, actionable, and aligned with business objectives
    • Communicate key performance insights and recommendations to internal executives, operations teams, and external stakeholders
    • Wholesale Planning & Network Design
    • Oversee wholesale planning activities for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and non-captive customers, ensuring effective forecasting, allocation, and tracking of vehicle volumes
    • Supervise network design efforts, ensuring that logistics and operational strategies align with brand objectives and KPIs
    • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, to ensure optimal performance and efficient network design across brands
    • Collaboration with Stakeholders
    • Work directly with internal teams, including Wholesale Planning, Operations, and Customer Service, to address any challenges impacting performance or network design
    • Establish and maintain strong communication with external customers and partners to ensure alignment with performance targets, expectations, and operational efficiency
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and executives to ensure the achievement of company-wide objectives
    • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in performance management, reporting, and network design processes
    • Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and alignment with long-term business goals
    • Support to Executive Leadership
    • Provide support to senior executives by delivering comprehensive performance reports and strategic recommendations based on KPI analysis
    • Prepare and present performance updates to internal leadership teams, ensuring that key insights and recommendations are clearly communicated
  • Customer Service Oversight
    • Oversee the management of customer service performance for Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, and non-captive customers, ensuring that service standards and expectations are consistently met
    • Support the team in managing customer feedback and addressing any performance or service issues that arise
    • Team Development & Mentoring
    • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members, focusing on skill enhancement, leadership growth, and alignment with strategic goals
    • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the team

  • Extensive experience with KPI Development, Performance Monitoring, & Reporting Required 
  • Automotive and Supply Chain Industries Preferred 
  • Strong understanding of network design & Logistics Operations, with experience leading strategic initiatives Required 
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage complex projects, & collaborate with cross-functional teams Required 
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data & make strategic decisions 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • 8 - 12 Years of Experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Required
  • 10 - 15 Years of experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Preferred
  • 5 years of direct experience in Wholesale Planning, Customer Service, Performance Management, Logistics Required
  • 3 years in a leadership role Required
