Team Leader

• Support the OS in the management of equipment operators and team members.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of workers, ensuring targets and safety standards
• Participate and support safety initiatives, assist with training team members.
• May work with forklifts, tuggers, driving, part install, vehicle loading, processing and QC checks on regular basis.
• May be assigned various tasks based on work area for business needs.
• Resolve conflicts that may arise between team members.
• Facilitate communication between TM's and management.
• Learn IVELES systems and scanning processes for each department you work in.
• Ensure team members are adequately trained and performing their assigned positions.
• Understand and carry out all SOP's, SWIS, and safety requirements per instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support VPC operations.
• Must understand process flow and next customer requirements.
• Assist with safety audits as needed.
• Assist with training of new staff on quality standards.
• Report issues as needed to management to remain vigilant in containment.
• Communicate issues and concerns with management in a timely or urgent manner.
• This position is required to fill in where needed, including but not limited to all supporting positions.
• May be required to assist in vehicle driving in urgent circumstances to meet objectives.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to complete an assigned task in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain and promote good housekeeping
• Basic computer skills

• HS Diploma/G.E.D preferred
• 1 year of indirect job experience preferred
• Quality control training experience preferred

• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to Bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs., depending on the location, throughout shift.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable.

The estimated base hourly rate for the Team Leader is $24.60 an hour. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
