Working Hours : 8 to 12 hour shifts in a 24 X 7 schedule
Summary :
As an RF Data Collection Technician I, you will learn to collect cellular network baseline data and file reports back to company HQ. Drive Testers use vehicles in the performance of their duties and use test equipment to collect sensitive cellular network data. RF Data Collection Technician I will work in varying locations and perform various aspects of the job. This job is a good fit for people who :

Essential Functions :
Learn all aspects of the job quickly and work independently with little supervisionCollect propagation and signal measurement data for the analysis of RF performanceMeasure field data for the base station to identify RF signals frequencies and respective power levelsFollow test plans, follow test site scheduling, understand equipment calibration and setup, RF signal measurement and basic data analysis.Work independently days or nights to gather relevant RF data, as required by the projectOther Functions :
Independently plan routes and manage time required to execute the amount of work that is planned for the project timeline (day / week)Quickly learn and retain relevant system knowledge through applied learning, reading of standards documents or other documentation and review of test plan documentsResolve basic computer problems with navigation and data collection softwareDemonstrate basic understanding of RF theoryExtended hours in a vehicleWork on day shift or night shift as neededOvernight hotel stays as needed, on occasionRequirements :

Description :
Candidate will be required to work out of the Dallas office 2-3 days per week.
Candidate will be required to work during central Time Zone hours.
Candidate MUST have the following and be clearly visible in previous work history :
OpenStack and orchestration experienceNMS / OSS Installation / upgrade and Integration experienceProficiency in FCAPS and network management system tools in the telecom domain.Experience in Red Hat Linux and Windows.Job Roles Responsibilities :
Form installation and commissioning of MantaRay NM (NetAct) Systems on OpenStack cloud environment in Nokia Lab, customer Lab and productions systems.Support and execute regression testing and ATP of MantaRay NM in Nokia Lab, customer Lab and productions systems.Support orchestration of deployment and upgrade workflows in OpenStack cloud.Perform integration of MantaRay NM with various other Network elements for FCAPS functionality.Participate in MantaRay NM Software Upgrade and be responsible for whole or portion of the upgrade tasks.Proactively work on issues and communicates updates to key stakeholders.Troubleshoot issues, conduct knowledge bases, and determine need for technical escalation.Implementation of continuous improvement practices for high process efficiencies.Provide on-site support (if needed).Implement proactive measures to address customer concerns as appropriate.Participate in customer & internal meetings representing Nokia Network Management team.Creation, delivery of MOPS to the customer.Maintain Lab systems for use in testing and problem-solving scenarios.Follow all Nokia Information Security policies and guidelines including ISMS (ISO27001 program).Competencies and Skillset :
Proficiency in FCAPS and network management system tools in the telecom domain.Knowledge of deployment of Network management system (NMS) with installation and commissioning experience.Experience in orchestration workflows of new deployment and upgrades in OpenStack cloud.Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS with Red hat Certification preferred.Experience deploying applications on cloud infrastructure (Open Stack or VMWare) with open stack certification preferred.Good Analytical troubleshooting skills.Good verbal and written communication skills in English.J-18808-Ljbffr
