What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writer - AI Platform position at Glow Networks?
Location: Mountain View, California Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Development: Partner with the AI Product Manager to create, update, and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and system architecture descriptions
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather the necessary technical information and ensure documentation accuracy and comprehensiveness
- Translation of Technical Concepts: Translate complex technical concepts and procedures into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that is easily understandable for varying skill levels
- Feedback Integration: Collect and incorporate feedback from internal users to continuously improve the usefulness and clarity of the documentation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a technical writer in a software development environment, with a strong portfolio of technical documentation
- Solid understanding of software development processes, terminology, and tools; experience in writing documentation for AI-related products is required
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and gather technical information from subject matter experts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for a broader audience
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency in documentation
