The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with children of different ages and backgrounds, and be able to plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and implement daily lesson/activity plans that meet the needs of children in the Before and After School program.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, health, and wellness, as well as other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and continuity in the provision of care and support to children.
Key Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience working with children in a Before and After School program or similar setting.
- Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
- Ability to work effectively with children of different ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
