Job Summary
">Glow YMCA is seeking a qualified Before and After School Child Care Staff to join our team. As a member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging program activities that align with our YMCA values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
- Provide direct supervision and support to children during activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents through regular updates and conferences.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting is preferred.
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and New Employee Orientation and Child Abuse prevention training within 60 days of hire date.
