What are the responsibilities and job description for the AIRBRUSH TANNING TECHNICIAN position at GLOW?
GLOW was established 10 years ago as the area's only Organic Airbrush Tanning Studio. We wanted to make airbrush tanning available to everyone, providing reliable and consistent results in a beautiful setting, 7 days a week. Your Day to Day
Our airbrush technicians are masters of multi-tasking! You'll be the core of the client experience and the first interaction with clients as they walk through our door. All of our amazing employees are cross trained to work reception- in addition to providing excellent tanning service, you'll also check clients in/out, schedule appointments, and answer the phone. We have a family environment at GLOW and everyone is responsible for contributing to the overall client experience.
Airbrush Technician Responsibilities
-Perform airbrush tanning services
-Greet check in clients
-Learn maintain expert level knowledge of airbrush tanning
-Learn become proficient in BLVD our online booking and processing software
-Perform side tasks including maintaining and cleaning airbrush tanning rooms, waiting area and common areas
-Restocking products, inventory and disposables
-Answer all client questions and be able to explain the differences between the types of tans, formulas, pre and post care.
-Respond to client emails, voicemails and text messages regarding appointments and services.
Requirements Desired Traits
-Technicians must be 18 years of age or older
-Tanning experience is preferred but we will provide training on tanning services to a qualified applicant
-Availability- must be available on nights and weekends for at least two shifts
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Must be able to perform well in a busy salon environment and deal well with multiple clients
-Experience with airbrush makeup or tanning is a plus but not required
-Excellent listening skills
-Organized and able to multi task
-Superior attention to detail
-Must be skilled in dealing diplomatically with clients in stressful situations
