Glowbar is a skincare company with a people-centric mentality. Our singular mission is to help people feel confident in their skin, so we created the first-to-market, custom, 30-minute facial experience to make skincare more accessible, efficient, and effective. Each studio is equipped with expert estheticians who provide professional-grade results at an affordable price-point.

Role :
Glowbar is seeking a driven, outgoing, self-motivated and people-focused Studio Manager to be a part of our growing (and glowing) team! Our Studio Manager will be continuously empowered to achieve KPIs and make strategic, high-level business decisions to ensure an amazing experience for every client while building a motivated and supportive culture within their studio. This person will work collaboratively with studio leadership to deliver results and foster a positive, results-driven culture. The Studio Manager should proudly display our core values each and every day and strive to support their team, clients, and business to the best of their abilities.
As Studio Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) :
Revenue
Demonstrates strong financial acumen by maintaining and exceeding Glowbar studio performance goals focused on topline revenue, retail product and client appointments through strategic frequent actions and plans that produce results and impact to KPIsFocus on client acquisitions, member conversion and retention through upselling and cross sellingEffectively manage studio budgets and expense including treatment usage, product and supply ordering and payroll; identify areas of cost savings without compromising qualityTeam Leadership
Be an exemplary team leader by exhibiting a people-first mentality focused on team member development and retentionRegularly coach, counsel and develop studio team consisting of Studio Guides (front desk) and Estheticians (service providers) on successes and challenges related to individual and Company goals (e.g. holding team members accountable for meeting defined KPIs, hospitality and dependability expectations)Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills, perspectives, and common goalsCreating and maintaining a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectivesStudio Operations (Inventory, Staffing, Scheduling, Platform Management)
Optimize schedules on a daily basis to ensure utilization goals are achieved while effectively managing labor costManage recruitment and hiring process for your studio in partnership with field leaders and HQ partnersManage retail and professional inventory via weekly inventory counts, revenue forecasting, and managing loss and usage costsManage and process bi-weekly payrollManage inventory usage to ensure alignment with Company expectationsClient Experience
Model and ensure a friendly, compassionate environment, guaranteeing that every client receives an extraordinary, memorable experience as they navigate through the space and our retail assortmentManage all client feedback for your studio to prioritize a positive client experienceCommunity Events & Partnerships
Build your community network in order to have at least one monthly activation that will support brand awareness, create new clients and build a strong membership base to ultimately drive studio growthAnalyze and react to business trends in order to proactively plan partnerships to build members and first time treatmentsManage weekly field outreach (flyering, tabling, etc.) within your community to reach new clients and drive new business to the studioQualifications
2 years of hospitality people management experience in a booming service-based industry (i.e. fitness, restaurant, retail, hotel, salon / spa, etc.)Proven track record of success in driving studio level margins and disciplined expense managementImpressive management style with demonstrated success inspiring teams to achieve (and exceed!) goals; fostering a high-performing teamSuperior communication and interpersonal skills, providing exceptional hospitalityObsessed with providing best-in-class hospitalityStrong understanding of retail operations, policies, and proceduresDemonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environmentMust be a forward-thinking problem-solver with a strong work ethic who has compassion for employees and clientsDesire to learn and try new things every day!Passion for beauty, skincare and taking care of peopleMust have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule - must have weekend, holiday, and early morning / midday / late evening weekday availabilitySalary : $65,000-$75,000, commensurate with experience
