GLP Attorneys is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our Vancouver office. This is a full-time, in-office position located in Vancouver, WA.
The Front Desk Coordinator is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our office by handling a variety of clerical, recordkeeping, and customer service tasks. As the office's primary point of contact, this role provides information and support to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees. Working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position with significant foot traffic.
In This Role, You Will
GLP Attorneys determines the compensation for positions using local, national, and industry-specific data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wages in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our firm. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Compensation will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
The base pay range for a Front Desk Coordinator in South Sound, WA is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
GLP Attorneys proudly offers a competitive total rewards package. In addition to the base rate and bonuses, the firm provides employees with vision, dental, medical/Rx insurance (with the option to open a health savings account), life insurance, a firm-sponsored employee assistance program, and a 401 (k)-retirement plan with a discretionary safe harbor and profit-sharing feature. GLP Attorneys sponsors 100% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the HSA preferred medical plan ($3k deductible). The firm sponsors 25% of all medical dependent coverage. GLP Attorneys sponsors 75% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the vision plan and 25% for those enrolled on a dental plan. Employees are responsible for the premiums for dependent coverage on the vision and dental plans.

In This Role, You Will
- Welcome and assist clients, visitors, and vendors.
- Perform general office duties, including maintaining and organizing the conference room, refrigerator, kitchen, and lobby to ensure the entire office is well-stocked and orderly.
- Schedule appointments and handle referrals.
- Respond to phone calls and emails.
- Perform data entry and filing tasks.
- Receive, organize, and review mail and incoming correspondence.
- Assist with office events and programs.
- Handle additional duties as assigned, which may include managing client account balances, scanning and closing files, and other administrative tasks to support our legal teams.
- Occasional travel to other office locations in the region, such as Tacoma or Silverdale, may be required on an ad hoc basis.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including effective communication with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, along with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong collaborative work ethic.
- An understanding of the confidential nature of the work and the ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
- Typing proficiency of at least 50 words per minute.
- Capability to proofread legal documents.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic understanding of office equipment.
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and systems, such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems, and demonstrate strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks amid competing responsibilities.
- Previous clerical experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a law firm is highly desired.
