We are seeking a adaptable Human Resources Manager to provide strategic as well as hands-on support for the company. In this position you will be responsible for managing, implementing and overseeing human resources policies and activities such as employment, payroll, benefits, employee relations and communications for the organization. Summary
As the Human Resources Manager at GlyMed Plus, you will be instrumental in shaping our workforce and enhancing our organizational culture. Responsibilities
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Oversee recruitment processes to attract top talent in the beauty and skincare industry.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Provides support to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodation, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge in line with industry standards.
- Reports any employee issues for swift and purposeful attention & action.
- Utilize HR data analytics to inform decision-making and improve talent management practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while managing contracts effectively.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategic workforce planning initiatives.
- Support performance management processes to drive employee engagement and productivity.
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the beauty or healthcare sector.
- A minimum of three years (3) of Human Resource Management experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and practices.
- Experience with recruiting, talent management, and employee development strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with HR software such as PEO platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
