Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Associate to join our team. The Office Associate will provide administrative support, handle customer inquiries, and assist with various clerical tasks. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft word, zoom, data entry software, and has experience in an office setting, and possesses excellent customer service skills. This is currently a temporary position.
Duties:
- Cleaning and sanitizing office spaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and other furniture
- Dusting surfaces and ensuring that all areas are free of clutter and debris
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document management
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Cleaning and sanitizing office spaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and other furniture
- Cleaning windows and glass surfaces as needed
- Ensuring that washrooms are clean and well-maintained
- Emptying trash cans and disposing of waste in a proper manner
- Dusting surfaces and ensuring that all areas are free of clutter and debris
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Zoom, and other computerized systems
- Previous experience in an administrative setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
