GM Equipment Corporation is a fast growing equipment rental company with locations in Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. We service these areas, and beyond with a variety of construction rental equipment. Our main focus includes Aerial Lifts (Boom & Scissor Lifts) and Material Handling Equipment (Telehandlers & Forklifts).
As a result of our significant growth, GM Equipment Rentals is in need of 2 full time Aerial Equipment Mechanics for our Columbus, OH location. (1) Field Service Technician & (1) Shop Mechanic positions are available.
Job responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing equipment for future rentals - servicing, inspections, PM. work.
- Completing proper paperwork in accordance with work done that day
- Fixing / replacing broken parts
- Hydraulic & electrical repairs
- On-site and in shop work environment
- ETC.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass background /drug test. A DOT medical card is required for the Field Service Technician position.
- 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair
- Be knowledgeable with engines, hydraulics and electrical systems
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
