The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for attaining GM Financial's originations objectives for an assigned sales territory. The RSM provides input and executes the sales strategies for assigned territories as well as provides leadership to the Sales team. This team member is a key link between sales operations, credit operations, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities : About the role :
- Set goals and drive performance of the regional sales team
- Provide on going evaluation, training, education, and assistance to the assigned DAR team
- Make joint sales calls with Sales team members to support key relationships or enhance the opportunity for new business, as well as assess and find coaching opportunities
- Evaluate and balance territory assignments
- Assist each DAR in developing a strategic approach to managing and growing volume within their assigned territories
- Ensure sales operations are operating in accordance with company objectives
- Support GM Financial's strategic initiatives throughout the region and ensure consistent support from entire Sales team
- Communicate to management the territory's objectives, strategies and operational results on a timely basis
- Work with Regional Credit Managers to build a team approach to dealer management and enhance communication and cooperation between organizations
- Support GM Financial's strategic initiatives throughout the region and ensure consistent support from entire Sales team
- Perform other duties as assigned
