Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Debugging computer code to correct errors and improve performance
- Problem solving and solution creation
- Participating in peer code reviews to improve the quality of code written by team members
- Proactively learning about new technologies
- Regular communication and troubleshooting with team members
- Reviewing documentation about the latest technology releases and project updates to ensure understanding of system operations
Qualifications
- Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship.
- Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA.
- Junior or Senior classification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required.
- 1-2 years of experience with programming languages (Java/C /Python) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience with Version Control Systems (GitHub, VSA, SVN) preferred
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
- Previous internships are considered a plus.
