Oracle Application Developer is a technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming. This position acts independently under general direction and should be an expert in technical area. This team member formulates/defines system scope and objectives and devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.The Oracle Application Developer prepares detailed specifications and is responsible for developing, unit testing, debugging and documentation. This team member should have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming, and is accountable for providing work estimates and may be responsible for multiple phases of a project. Responsibilities will also include guiding/directing and checking the work of other developers.

JOB DUTIES
- Develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs
- Provide technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for new systems or enhancements
- Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing and debugging
- Coordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform code reviews
- Develop advanced solutions in Oracle EBS and related technologies and tools
- Develop file and database structures, interfaces between internal and external systems
- Provide third-tier user support during installation and end user training
- Design forms, reports, data collection, processing and control procedures for assigned systems
- Create and maintain all pertinent documentation using AIM methodology
- Maintain technical and functional awareness and competence
- Serve as contact to relationships outside of the Company as appropriate
- Liaison with external vendors like Oracle Managed Cloud Services etc
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Conform with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
What makes you a dream candidate?
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 primarily in the following Oracle Financials (GL, iExpense, AP, FA, Cash Management, Purchasing, iProcurement, Payments) and HCM modules
- Experience in development of all aspects of RICE objects
- Experience and development of Workflows and AME rules
- Experience in design and development of Oracle Forms and Reports
- Experience developing reports in BI Publisher and Discoverer
- Experience with Unix/Linux Shell scripts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, software library control and editing products
- Knowledge of encryption and security protocols
Skills
- IDEs such as TOAD, SQL Navigator, PL-SQL Developer and JDeveloper
- Strong SQL, PL/SQL, OAF skills including performance tuning
- Ability to interpret and write technical publications/diagrams, and project specifications
- Good organizational and follow-up skills and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation pertaining to the operations of computer and software applications and equipment
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment

Experience and Education
- 2-4 years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, testing, documenting and production support of Oracle e-Business applications required
- 0-2 years XML, JSON, XSLT and Web Services preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work or military experience preferred
