Duties
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading goods.
- Assist in order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
- Utilize cherry pickers for retrieving items from high storage locations as necessary.
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Fabricate packaging materials as required for shipping products securely.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following skills:
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for tracking inventory.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques to ensure safe movement of goods.
- Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment safely.
- Familiarity with cherry pickers for efficient order retrieval.
- Previous experience in inventory control processes is a plus.
- Skills in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
