ERP Business Systems Analyst β Onsite
Role Overview:
GM Performance Power Units is seeking an experienced IFS ERP Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing our IFS ERP system, ensuring it aligns with our business processes and supports our global operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead various components of ERP and business implementations, including manufacturing, supply chain, planning, inventory management, and warehousing across multiple sites.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new and existing systems.
- Conduct business architecture and process optimization design, recommending system enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Work closely with IT, internal, and external teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in IFS ERP supply chain, planning, scheduling, inventory management, engineering/PDM, and warehousing.
- Assist in system design, testing, and implementation of business applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist end-users with training and adoption of system changes.
- Troubleshoot system issues and work with technical teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Computer Systems, Computer Science, or International Business; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant hands-on experience as an ERP user in manufacturing, machine shops, supply chain, planning, or related disciplines.
- At least 4 years of experience in implementing, supporting, and maintaining IFS ERP solutions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and global operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with report development tools such as Crystal Reports, Quick Reports, and Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in IFS ERP systems and related technologies.
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques.
- Understanding of integration between ERP and other business applications.
